Spotting investing scams

How to spot a scam before it costs you.

The idea

If an investment sounds too good to be true, it almost always is. Real investing is slow and boring; scammers promise fast, guaranteed riches to trick you. Watch for big red flags: 'guaranteed' returns, pressure to act NOW, and strangers messaging you tips. Knowing the tricks is your best protection. 🚩

Guaranteed returns
A promise nobody can honestly make — real investing always has risk, so this is a scam sign.
